Save the Children has pre-prepared supplies and staff in some of the areas where families are being brought to, including 10,000 food baskets and 30,000 medical kits. Save the Children is:

  • Working around the clock, in sub-zero temperatures, to distribute blankets, food and emergency supplies for thousands of people.
  • We’ve organized an emergency health team and six ambulances, with supplies to treat an additional people in need.
  • We are also preparing child protection and education programs, to accommodate children at up to 40 temporary learning spaces.
